"Quotes different price over phone and refuses to honor it. Don't bother. Liar liar liar."

"Harley's charged us 2x what Kevin's charges for 9mm shells. They quoted us a price and we thought it sounded high, so we asked "is this a normal price?", and they said it was, so we went ahead and bought the shells. (We hadn't bought 9mm shells in a long long time, so we didn't really know the market rate). But later that day, when we went to the range, the folks at the range were shocked that Harley's charged as much as they did for the shells. They could have at least told us up front that they were charging 2x the normal price (or at least what the pawn shop and Kevin's charge). It felt a little dishonest. Also, they have a sticky note on the door that says "No Democrats allowed". I'm sure they would say it's a joke, but c'mon, how old are we here? There are plenty of other ways to express humor without potential customers feel unwelcome."

"I am from NJ and was in South Georgia and decided to stop BY and I'm glad that I did! Very nice guy ( Don't remember his name but he said he was from upstate NY and moved to Georgia) who helped answer all my questions! They just so happened to have what I was looking for and they helped with my transfer back to NJ...easy breezy! Thanks again for the help and I will definitely come back when I am back to visit family!"

"Wouldn’t quote a price over the phone. Wanted me to drive in from out of town to talk prices. Asked me what I wanted to pay. Hung up on me after I said it sounded sketchy. :edit: Yes, you told me what you would have sold it for as you were hanging up the phone on me. Had you quoted this price when I first ask for a quote, you’d have sold a few guns, had a happy customer, gotten good word of mouth advertising, and a good review. I’m still disappointed I can’t come and buy that gun from you today. Customer service is very important."
