"The lady we spoke with when we first arrived was very kind and welcoming. We Have 5 people in our home plus another child who is here part-time. I have a chronic illness and my spouse is a disabled veteran. The lady stated that we would receive 2 boxes of food. However, when we arrived at the front to pick up the 2 boxes. The man was rude to me and told me my children were too old to receive 2 boxes of food and he took one box back out. We have 3 teen boys 1 girl, myself and my spouse. 4 pieces of corn for 6 people is not even enough for one meal. It was a waste of a drive. (Teenagers eat more, not less sir.)I feel humiliated and discriminated against some how."
"They are the nicest people. They work so hard in the blistering heat & rain. They're always so pleasant to be around. They load your car for you. You never have to get out of your car."
"I called on Saturday to ask if they were taking donations. They said yes. I said I would be there Monday. I arrived Monday morning. I asked where I could unload my donations. The woman extremely rudely shouted at me that she wasn’t taking any donations. She was angry, and rude. I will NEVER bother to ever donate to them in goods or money ever again. Her behavior was totally uncalled for and a disgrace. No sorry or thanks. She was awful"
"Very nice people. Pastor Sam Edwards and his sister Linda were so helpful and generous. If you're looking for a new home church this church on Pebble Hill, the old Evangelical church, is the one to join. Thank you"
