"I just visited this T.J. Maxx location because I ride a motorcycle and it's getting chilly, so I decided to stop and get a thicker durable jacket. I also needed some new clothes and travel hygiene items because I am riding down to Tampa for my birthday tonight. I found a decent cheap Calvin Klein jacket, the first one I tried on was a small mislabeled as a large, the second one (in photo) i decided to keep on while I finished shopping (tags exposed and big security thing digging into my back on the collar. I found a "Sublime" sleeveless shirt (also in the pic) so I carried it and continued shopping, I was beside the registers, picking out a hygiene kit and checking prices on every item (because that is what you do when are intending on purchasing things) when a woman came up behind me and asked me if I needed a fitting room. I was confused and assumed she meant for the shirt in my hand, but she motioned to the jacket I was wearing. I said, "No, I am getting it and I'll just wear it up." She got on her radio and reported what I said to someone who was obviously watching me on the camera. This obviously rubbed me the wrong way but I let it go and continued shopping my way towards the registers. Then the woman came back, flustered as if she was being put in an uncomfortable situation, and said, "Sir, you have to take off the jacket. You can try it on but you can't walk around with it on." To which, I said "Okay, I'll take it now and I can't wait to write a review about this." I walked to the register, where a cashier who witnessed the entire thing avoided looking at me tried to not smile, and asked, "Do, you have a veteran discount?" As she rang me up. To which she said, "Unfortunately, no. We tried, since we are so close to the military base. . ." I vented to her, "That guy has piercings, he must be stealing. . ." Then I asked where the camera is, found it above me, and held up my US army retiree ID card for the audience on the other end and said, in case they can't read, "that says retired. . . Glad you wasted your time on me" or something to that effect. Then, the woman that initially talked to me let me know I could continue to shop there. lol To which I said, "No, thanks." This location just lost one veteran customer and I certainly hope that this review helps sway your decision away from here. Burlington is next door, I think Ross is across the street, the next exit has the mall. . . Etm. I would highly recommend that you take your business somewhere else."
