"Same problem most City Gear locations have, no skills in customer service or maybe they just have no desire for it. All about a dollar and it feels that way when I patronize here."

"Went to the Fayetteville store and purchased two items, both items were marked $60 on the tag and two thirty percent off sign was posted on the clothing table, upon checking the receipt we noticed we were charged $65 for each item and only received a 25% off. My husband and I immediately went back into the store to query, we were told Nike made a mistake on the tag and the price is actually $65 for each item. The manager tried to give us the items for $60 but then we would lose the 25% off and would then owe the store an additional $24. We told the manager we didn’t want the clothes anymore we’d like a refund, we were then told the store cannot give us a refund only a store credit. This was after five minutes of purchasing the clothes. While the manager was pleasant, this is unacceptable. The price on the tag is misleading and the 30% off advertised on the table is false advertising. And the fact that we couldn’t get a refund only a store credit is insane, we went in got the clothes immediately noticed the error and we couldn’t get our money back even though they couldn’t fix the error."

"Long post 0 stars I received the worst customer not once but twice. I visited this location on 12.18 around 12pm there were several associations in the store but it seems only 1 is allowed to use the register or complete any transactions. I was there to exchange a pair of shoes for .5 size smaller. The young lady advised only her manager could complete the transaction. I asked if she could check if they had the size I needed she again stated only her manager could do it. Once he arrived to assist there was no greeting but he let me know I would need to pay the difference because the shoes were originally pay for with points. I didn't understand why I needed to pay the difference for a like item exchange when I challenged it he then said nevermind. This took 20mins to complete. When I arrived home I noticed the replacement sneakers had ripped laces tip. It's a unique lace so I returned to the store and was again greeted by a young lady that stated she could not assist with any transactions and passed us off to a new manager. This young man walked up and said "how do I know this damage occurred in our store" I advised him his statement was accusatory he then stated he did not care and that he did not have to provide service and refused to assist. After finally getting him to look at my receipt and date of purchase (12.18) and contacting another manager he finally agreed to assist. To have have someone outright refused to do their job and provide basic level of customer service and blatantly tell me they dont care about my business after I've already spent hundreds of dollars that is completely unacceptable"

"I went in 5/18/2022 and the man that was working said oh we don’t have my size not it women kids or men so I called back yesterday 5/19/2022 a female answered and I asked if the had any of my sizes which the had a lot so I go in and got the shoes I wanted just to go home and look at them and they are not the same shoe at all I should of checked them"
