Western Union

"Do not go to this place unless you like wasting your time. I came to this place to cash a check that I received via mail for my time in jury duty. My bank do not have a branch in the area and didn't have mobile deposit as an option. So I decided to go here, as it was one of the few good places to get money orders and cash checks. With that being said, it was very disappointing with the experience I had with this place today. When I entered the store and walked to the individual working at the time, I handed the check to him. Now mind you, the check was not signed on the back and I couldn't do mobile deposit. When he looked at the check, he asked why the check have a date from 3 weeks ago. I told him that I received it from the mailed last week. Afterwards, he asked if I done mobile deposit. I told him I tried, but I couldn't since my bank didn't have it available. Having said that, he still went on about how he couldn't cash the check if it went through mobile deposit. I understand that, but my bank doesn't have direct deposit, which was the point I was making. Yet, every time I tell him that my bank doesn't do mobile deposit, he wouldn't listen to me. Instead, he would rather stand there and argue with me instead listening to me and using common sense (like looking at the back of the check). Once, I noticed that he wasn't going to listen, I just ask for my check back and left. Now, I don't know if he was just being lazy or discriminate, but if you always assume that people that look like me are trying to commit fraud, then you do not need to do business in this area. Go to somewhere like Sandy Springs where there's less of us there, if you're so paranoid about doing business with us."

"Very rude cashier! The man at the front desk had a very nasty attitude. I called to speak with the owner to no avail. They look down on you, and if you have an issue with western union they are very unwilling to help. BAD BUSINESS BEHAVIORS. THEY CARE ONLY ABOUT MAKING MONEY WITH NASTY BEHAVIOR. One Star for lack of ZERO STARS!"

"These people are the rudest people in Atlanta. I’ve been a resident for 26 years and I’ve never seen anyone treated the way they treated that young man who was in line in front of me. I almost regurgitated from the disgust I was witnessing. I left and I won’t be back. That was a complete waste of time. I should have went to Ace like I was going to. What’s going on with these strange people working for Western Union ? Can’t even get good service out of them anymore."

"The worst service possible. The person literally looked at my face and refused to cash my check because he said that I had he didn’t want to call the bank. I said there is a number on the check to verify it. He said he knows that number will say that the check is legimate but because I had never cash the check at western union before he still would have to call the bank. I told him I have cashed the check before at the western union up the street and he denied that he was connected to that western union. Not only that: the location claims to offer tons of services there, like 401k’s and other shady looking services. It looks like a money laundering front to me. I’m just stating my observation. Please don’t waste your time. I went out of my way to pot this review to save hard working consumers like yourselves time and effort."

"Its now 8:13 am & still no one is here. This is ridiculous. Door says they are closed today but the Google says they open at 8:00 am. So is it open or nah?"
