"I had a patch fold over on the ball in my flintlock, and the ball was STUCK half way down the barrel. I have some minor gunsmithing experience, and after hours of trying, I realized I could not remove the ball. Mr. Roy had the job done for me in 10 minutes, all while his gracious wife entertained my children with the family dogs and rabbit. I will not hesitate to go to Roy again if the need arises!"

"I took Mr. King a Browning Hi Power to re finish and have the trigger lightened and he ruined my pistol!!! The first finish was Ceracoat and there was trash in the paint and the color was not consistent. He then did a mat blue and there was a large rub on the slide from his carelessness. The trigger is a disaster, it drops to half cock every time the slide goes forward. I left the gun for him to repair and the problem is now worse. I asked for a partial refund, wich I feel is fair considering the fact that I now have to replace my hammer and sear where he botched the trigger job and he refused. I had been using Roy's Gun Service for over 30 years but will never again. There are other Gunsmithing services in the area and I would stay away from Roy."
