"Staff was friendly, course was playable for February. Seems like the tee times were way overbooked as we heard two other foursomes check in with the our same tee time. One round took 5 hours and we skipped the 18th hole. There was a group of 20+ golfers holding up the whole course and it seemed like there was little being done. As we drove by the 18th green, the whole group was huddled up around the green as each player finished the hole while there were no less than 4 other foursomes just waiting to tee off. Would play again, but that is pretty unacceptable etiquette for the first nice day in weeks."
"First time here. Very enjoyable. The food was delicious. Decently priced. Service was good. Enjoyed the outside patio."
"Excellent course, beautiful greens and smooth fairways. Breath taking views"
"Solid course when in good shape. As of early March the greens are nice and fast.. the fairways are pretty bare with a lot of roll. Rounds typically take 4.5 - 5 hours due to the clubhouse stacking as many tee times as possible. Great bar/restaurant and friendly staff."
"Update August 2022 Still a really fun course, but I felt I needed to update my original post. Unfortunately, the greens have suffered over the summer use. I also think that this being the home course of Woodstock High School leads to some irresponsible actions or some dumb rival high schools causing mayhem. Obvious examples of divots caused by hitting chips off the green and large indentions cause by slamming wedges into the greens. Additionally, there are probably 3 or 4 tee boxes that were in shambles. I played a twilight round so it was only $40. I'd say based on the conditions, $50 would be a fair price. But $70 is on the high side considering the current conditions. So I have lowered my original rating of 5 stars down to 4. Still a fun course and will remain in my rotation. I just hope they work on the greens and have a more present marshall to protect against kids messing up the course. If so, I'll update my review again. Original post May 2022 The course is absolutely pristine right now. Not sure why so many people have complained about the cart paths. Seemed just fine to me. Solid, grass driving range. Accessible putting green. And a full staff - starter, marshal, etc. Which kept pace of play right in line with expectations (4 hrs and 15 mins). Greens were very receptive on approach shots (SO FIX YOUR PITCH MARKS AND KEEP IT THAT WAY). And they rolled true. Couple of really tricky greens made it fun. Fairways were in excellent shape as well. Couple tee boxes could use some love, but I think they were trimming them down shortly after my round. Regardless, wasn't a big deal on the couple that needed trimming. Just a really enjoyable course all around. I'll be back."
