"So I have been a customer at the salon I want to say maybe more than 6 years and my issue is with the hair stylist named Miss Mary Williams I recently had to start going back to her to do my hair all of a sudden she stops responding to calls and text messages when I try to book an appointment today I was met with rudeness and sarcasm when I called (different hairstyles answered the phone). So I decided to drive to the location to speak to Miss Mary woman to woman and she proceeds to walk me outside of the business and tells me that she can no longer do my hair. Also she told me nobody in the salon would do my hair because of he said she said (gossip that was told to her mind you she's in her 60's and too old to listen to gossip without getting both sides) I would highly advise nobody to come to this location because these hair stylists are elderly unprofessional disrespectful carry on gossip about each other and the clients. When I tried to ask her what was said or what was going on she refused to tell me at the moment in time and proceeded to tell me that she would call me about it but the funny part is she told me that she has my number blocked so she couldn't have an adult conversation with a customers who has been loyal to her for years. I will never set foot in the salon ever again please if you're reading this do not step foot in the salon and do not get your hair done with Mary Williams thank you. I repeat do not come to this salon!!!! These hair stylists are about gossiping and not doing a job or making money"
"I am leaving this review on behalf of my elderly client. DO NOT COME HERE! This salon is awful! The chairs and equipment all look old and broken. The seats are all split open because they are too old! The floor looked dingy. But most importantly the staff. The stylist that did my elderly clients hair was horrible. Her attitude was awful. She didn’t even speak to my client unless it was to bark an order to do something. She just looked mad. And that’s when she didn’t have her face in her cell phone. She seemed like she didn’t want us there and then had the nerve to be shocked when she got a small tip (which in my opinion she didn’t even deserve that). The best thing this place can do is close down. Nobody there looked or acted like they wanted to be there"
"I went in for a consultation to get highlights done and was told the cost would be 100 dollars for half a head of highlights and 160 for a full head… I’ve never spent that much on my hair it is very short and thin. No compromise was made to make customer happy- to simply do the full highlight so that the roots would not show or to cut the mismatched hair off at a reasonable length for a reasonable price- I have a small section of blonde underneath that has grown out to the point you have to cut it off or fill it in. Condescending stylist. Would not recommend."
"I can't believe JC PENNEY!! Let me be clear, I don't mind paying for a service, if it's done correctly. Therefore; my complaint isn't about the money. Well, maybe sort-of, but I'm more so appalled at the salon chairs. Why are the salon chairs outdated and raggly? JC Penney' charges entirely too much money to have customers sitting in raggly, torn chairs. I was told that management stated that customers come there for a service and not to look at the salon chairs. NOT TRUE!! we look at the chairs too, especially when you have to sit in them. In the words of Gomer Pyle, SHAME. SHAME, SHAME!!!!"
"I got my daughter's haircut here. The price was fine, $14, but I guess you get what you pay for. I'm going to have to take my daughter to get her hair fixed. She has uneven hair now with long strands hanging down every couple of inches. It is super jagged. Staff was rude except the lady that actually cut my daughter's hair. I would not recommend this place to anyone."
