"I was out riding my bicycle when I spotted this place. The next day, I went back for lunch and they remembered me waving. The food was amazing, and KC and Sam were both VERY friendly. Whether you're next door at a campground, an hour's drive, or just passing by... you owe it to yourself to stop. I was dreaming about the brownie all afternoon."

"A small Grain Silo converted into a fast food walk-up restaurant. Burgers, Hot Dogs, Tacos, Salads, and other fast food. Prices were a little higher than expected but quality and quality were excellent. Service was excellent with super friendly staff. This was, at this time, the only food place open in Fort Gaines."

"The Silo is a simply wonderful place to stop and eat! It's a roadside picnic where all you have to bring is your appetite. The burgers are amazing! I had a cheeseburger all the way and let me tell you, whatever they seasoned that burger patty with was incredible! Perfectly juicy, tasty burger! I also had a slaw dog. The slaw was fresh, crispy and had a slight sweetness that partnered with the savory hotdog just right! I got to enjoy my meal at the picnic table they have available. The two ladies that run the place are very welcoming and charming. It was a perfect lunch! I made The Silo a big ole ❤️ on my Google map, can't wait to go back!"

"This remote wooded area hides a true gem of roadside eateries. Featuring homemade hotdogs, hamburgers, and other classic grilled fare perfect for a summers day. Be sure to also try the desserts! The staff here also has to be some of the most kind and personable I have ever seen. This is a must stop if you are in the area or like me enjoy Sunday drives to unique dining locals."
