"I want to write this review to give credit to Mrs.Maxwell for being a great teacher. I started the nail technician course on February 2023, & I now officially have my license as a nail technician. I am beyond grateful for the opportunity to attend this course & to have had a knowledgeable teacher.. I came into this program not knowing anything about doing nails & I came out knowing so much more than I thought I would learn. So I am very happy with this overall experience.!☺️"

"Unfriendly reception! Long drive over and they said my feet were bad! Ridiculous! I wish they would have given me the foolish details before driving over!! I consider my feet good for my age !!"

"This was my first time at USA Beauty Academy. I had my roots dyed, ends trimmed, hair flat ironed and pin curled. Me and my daughter also had manicures. Adryele did my hair with the guidance of Nia (the Instructor). I didn’t get anyone’s last name but Nia is from NOLA. When I left the beauty school, my hair had the exact same quality look that it does when I have left high end salons. Adryele explained that I was her second “paid” client yet she did an excellent job. She was very pleasant and attentive. Definitely the kind of demeanor that I look for in a stylist. She said that she finishes her program in December. If she is doing this well at this early stage she will be a rockstar in December. I would definitely have to say that the instructor Nia was the superstar. She was managing the front (nails), the back (hair), managing the receptionist, and pulled into meetings all while training students. As an educator, I love to meet other great instructors and she is definitely a gem. I can really appreciate the patience and compassion that she has for the students. Even the students were speaking highly of her during the times that she stepped away. She would offer guidance and correction and then step away to let them try on their own. Not only was she showing them how to do it, she explained WHY they were doing it, each time that she helped them. She gave me tips on how I can keep my hair hydrated. In the end, they both deserved a tip. I tried to give Nia a tip because she really jumped in to help the stylist Adryele but she declined the tip and insisted that it go to the student. Nia was stellar all the way around. I will return because my hair looked very nice, the customer service was superb and of course because who can beat beauty school prices."

"Please do not trust the reviews that are positive. They are all owner's family members. True story is that my class got coned out of money. What we were promised was a program that will teach us and prepare us for state board exam, what we got was cold classroom to sit in to get the hours. We got a teacher handful of times. Mostly teacher would come for an hour and quit right after. It was always the owner that schemed teachers out of the pay so no one wanted to come and teach. Owner is a con artist and just dispicable. Don't waste your money here."

"I’ve attended USA Beauty Academy since March 2021. After quarantine we had a hard time with change the teachers. Some people got inpatient. But strong people who has a real goal to be somewhere still here. Everything works well. Everything is stable. School is clean, equipment works. We do not have a shortage of implements and supplies. I hope people can be more patient and positive. I like this school and I would recommend this school to my friends."
