"We have camped at this campground twice during summer and early fall. It’s pretty and peaceful camping place. If you can take the campsites just next to the water you get breathtaking view from you camper out rent. We did not notice any animals other than deer. Toilets were clean and the host at the entrance was very helpfully in answering all our questions"
"Stayed in a 10person tent at Site 15, very nice shaded site with an awesome lake view. The beach is a bit of a walk"
"We stayed at Cotton Hill for 4 off and on rainy days/nights. Despite the weather, we enjoyed the peaceful park. The site was beautiful, right along the water. Only issue was rain water pooled right at the rear door of our truck camper at site 33. A side entrance RV would be fine. A very nice feature of this park is having the dog run area for my fur faced boy. It is nothing fancy but is just perfect to give dogs a chance to run and play off leash. This is something more campgrounds need to have as so many people travel with their pups. Thank you, Cotton Hill! Note, the dog park area is up near the entrance of the park. However, there is a short path directly across from sites 37, 38 which leads to the park."
"Peaceful, amazing views and so clean. Showers and bathrooms are very well kept. A few lower sites, like 14 floods pretty good but drains quickly. Sites 14 and 15 very steep would suggest only popup, truck camper, or very small trailer. We have a 17' popup, and we're on site 14, we scraped a tad going in. But worth it for the view and access to water on those sites. Dog park area is large and grassy, very nice."
"Beautiful location. Sites are not on top of each other. For Rv folks, water and sewage hookups on sites. Public bathrooms could use a little updating, we got spoiled by the shower/bath combo in NW Florida. Wildlife all over. Easy check in, clean grounds, nice folks running it. Will definitely go back!!"
