"Very nice .5 mile hike. There are plenty of hog ruts along the trail so protect yourself and keep your eyes open to what is going on around you."

"Trail is not really maintained at all, but still a cool bridge worth the walk. Go over two wooden footbridges to get to the large metal Bellamy Bridge. Bring bug spray if it’s summer!!! Lots of standing water=lots of mosquitoes."

"Closed you cannot get to the old bridge. The walking trail is damaged and there is a large 50 foot wide section of pretty fast moving river water. The last leg of the trip is non-possible. You will go across a small new bridge that’s about 15 feet long and then a moment later you will be met with a large river crossing, and a boardwalk that is no longer existing."

"Short hike, cool bridge. Would not recommend attempts to cross, however."

"I think this should be removed from the historical site as one of the oldest bridges. I went this weekend and could not get to it nor did i see it!!! So frustrating!! Mosquitos will carry you off except the squishy mud will keep you sliding and trying to keep slipping out of shoes we passed obstacle one small stream but could not get passed obstacle two!!"
