"TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Let me start by saying if I could give this place 0 stars I would. This is my second interaction with them but this time I had to write a review because I was so dissatisfied and hopefully this will help the next person who is trying to decide whether or not to book with them. Today at 1pm I called to get starter locs for my 6 yr old son. I explained to the receptionist that my son has 4 braids in the back that would need to be taken out and that I would pay extra for it. The receptionist explained to me that a consultation would be necessary and that I could pay extra to have them take his braids out as well. I said ok. I asked her could I get his hair done today because I had the time and I would pay for the consultation and appointment as long as I could get it done today. She said you can come today, be here by 1:45. I arrived and she said I would have to wait until 3:45 because I came a little late. I understood and said "ok I will walk around the mall with my sons and come back at 3:45" I come back and was greeted by a stylist named Money or Monai. She took us to the chair and after my son sits down she than tells me that she cannot do the consultation because the back of my son hair was in braids. I said "You mean to tell me I waited for nothing. The receptionist said I could pay extra to have his hair taken out." She than said ok that is fine and we can do the consultation. I should have known than that she really did not want to do my son hair because the front of his hair was already taken out and for the consultation all she did was take 2 strands of hair from the back and twisted them to see if his hair would loc up. So I still do not understand what the big deal was about him having 4 braids in the back. This is a natural hair establishment that specializes in locs and twist. You mean to tell me it is a problem to pay yall to remove 4 jumbo braids out of my 6 yr old son small head! Anyhow she than explained the process and pricing and I agreed. She than told me she did not have any appointments until April. Here it is Feb 18....I was not about to wait until April for his appointment. I could not believe I called this establishment, I waited 1 hour, was misinfomed, and still charged for basically nothing. I paid $50.00 for her to take out 4 braids in my 6 yr old son hair for a consultation that did not even get me an appointment. Her demeanor seemed as if she did not want to do my son hair and the receptionist seemed unknowledgeable about the process herself. I hate to pay for something that was not even worth it. I am not a combative person and I have worked as a customer rep before so I know how important it is to give customers great service. This experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and I do not recommend this establishment at all. I do not want anything from writing this review. I just want y'all to do better. We work too hard for our money to be treated like this and it is sad that my sons had to witness this today."

"I’ve always done my own locs for 12 years. I was in search of a place that would give me the same care as I gave myself! They did that and more. The detox was amazing. I had ropes done. I loved them and the end of staying in for a month."

"The Atmosphere was pleasant. I started this micro loc journey back in August, I was excited about this until I learned that my locs are different sizes and not twisted all the way down. When I started I thought she would section off my hair but not so, parts are not even. Yes I’m a little frustrated because the money and time that was spent I should have never had someone who just came out of class on how to do micro locs. The price definitely should have been different when this person was not experienced at all. The first red flag was when she started on my hair someone pulled her to the side and what she started she came and took them out. Not happy or satisfied especially learning that my hair was not parted correctly and that they are different sizes Lesson Learned"

"Book in advance and didn't get the service requested. You don't show up on time. You're turned around or a no-show. Not only that, you'll pay a fees. Let's talk about showing up, and your stylist called out. Meanwhile, you have to wait for someone to come in. Discounts should be given for such an inconvenience. We didn't receive a call or anything in regard to this. Other than that, they do a great job."

"This was my first time having my hair done here. When I first walked in I was greeted by the staff that was at the front counter. They ask if I had a appointment and who it was with. I gave the info and my Stylist was Jasmine and she was right there waiting on me. She did a assessment of my hair and scalp. The she gave me the best shampoo ever. After that we made small talk and she asked how I wanted my hair styled.I was very pleased with the outcome as well as the price. I will go back."
