"Great place to stop and stretch as well as pee your dog. Clean with fantastic bathrooms and cool history. Easy free parking. However, Cordele the town is somewhat run down and needs a boost. It’s ashamed to see it’s not surviving but hopefully things will turn around."

"If you are into trains or can appreciate trains you will enjoy this park. I brought my lunch to eat here in the viewing pavillion. I talked to a few die-hard rail fans. I had some very informative conversations. The park has bathrooms, but they were not open (2pm on a Wednesday). It also has a water bottle fill-station, rail radio, informative signs and power outlets. It even has a live cam so people can watch the trains online. I was there an hour and two trains went by. All in all, I think this is a unique but nice addition to the ever struggling downtown."

"If you are into watching trains, this is a great place with many benches to sit on, some train history to read and a pretty open area for kids to run around and watch the trains. We heard there are about 80 to 100 trains that go by each day. We saw 4 go by with being there a couple of hours. Cool trains watching place."
