"Over the years the salon has had some new staff but this year i’ve noticed a steady decline in the service. A few months ago the lady who usually does my wax appointments left, there’s a few new women there - one in particular is VERY rough. I specifically ask for someone else to complete my service whenever I return. On the last 2 occasions the ladies in the salon seem inexperienced but this was the last time i’ll ever go here. New staff member applied a very thin layer of hard wax instead of the honey wax i usually get (for a brazilian wax), it dried and got stuck to my skin. An appointment that usually takes 10-15 mins became over 45mins of her slowly picking it off my skin in small pieces - tugging the hairs off with each piece. I asked for someone else to come in because it was so uncomfortable. Though she apologised profusely, it became very frustrating & sore! The lady who was very rough at my previous appointment came in & finished my service and apologised also. They seemed to be having trouble checking me out - they didn’t know the price for the full body package ($65 full leg, brazilian & under arms) which i had been paying over 4 years, so another lady came over - who spoke light english & charged 2 different prices (much higher than $65) turned the computer screen around & said in a frustrating tone “what you want to pay!?” I was completely caught off guard, i wasnt sure what was being said in their language but i haddnt explained what happened with the wax and i had no idea there was an issue with the price. Not the best experience and after 4+ years, unfortunately I will not return to this salon for future services."
