"Jesus walked on water & im pretty sure it was this river.. You cannot find a better horse trail. All levels of experience available, places to run, beautiful ravines, a confederate generals grave. An incredible set of trails, overnight camping available in multiple parking areas. Plenty of places to start the trail from. Been riding it for 26 years and gonna ride it another 26. Do not miss this trail."
"This section of national forest certainly appears unhealthy: bettle-infested stands of pine and stunted hardwood among clear-cuts. Private holdings are extensive and create obstacles for the trail system there. The river is certainly a nice feature, however."
"Super nice camping area! Went on the trail for about half a mile in and it was very nice down there. It was however a little washed out but still visible markings. I would like to return and hike more of the trail. You can hear trains in the distance and there are planes that fly above about ever hour or so. Overall super great experience."
"Nice back country trail with a few trailhead. Easy trail for beginners. Be sure to wear pants and boots if you're allergic to poison ivy. Bug juice for mosquitoes as you travel along a river and bountiful wetlands. Search the thick vegetation for wildlife."
