"My cousin and I stopped this place after the beach super hungry. We both had reservations about this place bc we’re both Vietnamese and we’re generally picky when it comes to our own cuisine but the reviews were really good. My cousin had ordered the bun Bo hue first, And her food came out in 10 minutes. It was fatty, spicy, and the flavor was totally balanced and the veggies were soooo fresh Overall, you can taste how well stewed the broth was. My cousin and I really enjoyed it. I ended ordering later with the server an app and some pho. It really felt like I waited so long after that to receive everything that I ordered. Everything took longer than the bun Bo hue and usually pho is really quick. Maybe some miscommunication between me and the server But I was really excited nevertheless cause the bun Bo hue was so good. The crepe came, it wasn’t very traditional tasting but the flavor was there. The fish sauce wasn’t really authentic in my eyes but it held up. The wrap was extremely crispy, it was good but it was hard to keep chewing. Pork was only on one side of the crepe, usually the pork has a steamed quality but it felt fried? It was still good though. The veggies again, were soooooo fresh. I think the hardest let down was the pho. Broth tasted very lean. Not how I prefer pho. I consider the Bun Bo hue the absolute BEST before the rest. Service was okay, a little slow at times. But the server who ended taking care of us after lunch shift got cut or something was super nice to us. Being a little harsher cause I’m Vietnamese, but overall good place to introduce someone to Vietnamese cuisine."
