"You know good and darn well it’s going to be good bbq when you walk in and see their sweet tea in a trash can. (A clean one you sickos) The menu has a wide variety of different smoked meats, and ways to have those meats. Chipped, chopped and sliced for the pork. We tried a little of everything because how could you not in an authentic place like this? Ribs were delicious with real smoked coloring and taste. Smoked half chicken has been cooked to perfection out back where they chop their own wood to smoke. Prices are incredible for the amount of food you get especially in todays world. Service is friendly and quick. We will be back!"

"This was the worse meal I have even bought from Mike & Ed's in Phenix City, AL. The pictures are of my qtater. The potato was so hard I had to switch to a medal fork instead of the fork that came with it and still couldn't eat it. The meat was burnt and dry. My husband got the bbq plate with 2 sides. He had enough meat to put in one piece of bread. As he said...we will not be going back to Mike & Ed's anytime soon if ever. This isn't the first we have had an issue with them but it will be the last."

"Great homestyle BBQ place with a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are extremely reasonable and the sauce is good. Not a 5 star because the brisket was good but lacked moisture and flavor. Pork was on point."

"The service seemed fine. My order was taken and repeated back to me. I thought everything was fine. I've always gotten good food. Today was a complete and total disaster. I am very disappointed. If this is what you guys are doing, I'm not sure about a return visit. I ordered brisket and requested that the fat be trimmed. It was trimmed alright :( I ordered several chef salads, requested no onions. Not only did I get onions, but looks like I git the whole onion :("
