"Me and my husband came in and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. Virginia is incredible! We watched her take care of multiple people with the brightest smile and upbeat personality. She makes it a great experience for anyone who walks through that door. If you have not been to Franklins go! Ask for Virginia and you will never be disappointed."
"Swung in for a quick bit so we could hit some hiking trails. Basic down home menu. Summer, our waitress was friendly and got our food out quickly. Tina sandwich was good, as was the cheese omelette. But hey, how far off can you be with those, lol ?"
"This place has so much charm right in the heart of Warm Spring GA. This was our first time dining here, and breakfast until 3pm is what attracted us to Franklin's. The staff greeted us with a friendly smile and took us to our table. She was prompt to get our drinks and orders. She did let us know that everything was made fresh to order and it would take about 15 to 20 mins for our food to come out. We were in no hurry. Our food came out and everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was prompt to refill our drinks and a manager came by to make sure we were pleased with everything. We will definitely eat here again next year when passing through. This little town was pleasing."
"First thing you need to know is if you need a quick in and out for breakfast then this is most definitely not the place. You can expect a 30-45 minutes wait to receive a basic breakfast take out order even if they are not busy but expect even longer wait times if they have a few customers. Food time score: 1 out of 5 Second thing you need to know is the prices that you see listed as the first menu photo on google is not very accurate, or they have jacked up their prices recently and that’s a negative look speaking they have only been in business a short time. The listed $7.50 chicken and waffles plate is $11.95 in reality, the $5 chicken biscuit is $7.50 in reality and that same pattern goes for most of the other menu items as well so keep that in mind. Consistency of menu score: 0 out of 5 Lastly, the food is pretty bad at least from my experience anyway. Everything was stone cold when I received it. One of the pancakes was burnt black on one side, the hash-browns greasy and undercooked pretty much like just eating thawed out raw potatoes cuts that are cold in the center, the scrambled eggs where overcooked and had a hard leather like texture on the outside with a strange burnt grease flavor; the white gravy taste exactly like the instant powder gravy you get in the cheap packets at the dollar store but the biscuit was actually OK, but unfortunately the pancake plate had to be trashed rather quickly. Food quality score: 1 out of 5 The building was acceptably presentable on the outside deck, and did appear to maintain cleanliness on the inside at least from what I could see, the historic theme is nice. Cleanliness score: 4 out of 5 Overall score: 1 out of 5 stars Final Thoughts: There’s definitely a lot of room for major improvements from consistency of online pricing versus pricing in person, food serving times to quality of food served. With some foundational restaurant issues corrected and resolved the potential is there for this place to be successful but it’s going to require some serious training and management work to make that achievable. Customers are willing to pay the higher price tags for quick service and quality food, but currently as it stands this restaurant is clearly suffering in those departments at least for now."
"Honored to be the first person to leave a review. I was in town visiting and wanted to grab something to eat since I heard that they were now open. I took a look at the menu and noticed that the prices were very reasonable. That was a nice surprise. I ordered a single burger with cheese and bacon. I was surprised at how tasty it was. The bread had a good taste to it and the meat tasted well too. It was fresh beef and it was a very hefty burger, especially for the price. The fries are home cut and thick, they were okay, I personally like a different type of fry. I also tried the Fallah Dog with chili and slaw. What I didn’t know is that the Fallah Dog is actually a cut up beef hot dog on a toasted bun. Nonetheless, it was good! The hot dog itself was good as well as the chili and slaw. Overall I was pleased with everything. I went on the restaurant’s 3rd day of being open and felt like they were doing a good job. I will go there again and recommend to others."
