H&W Steakhouse

"My boyfriend and I came here to celebrate his birthday. Upon entering the hostesses greeted us and were very welcoming. The dining room area is absolutely stunning. We were assigned 2 servers so my assumption is that one of them was new. Both servers were nice and explained the menu well. I ordered an off menu mocktail and it was very sweet but I decided not to return it. My boyfriend ordered a lemonade and he was not a fan of it. We were presented the steak display to choose from which was a nice touch. For an appetizer we ordered the lobster bisque and was offered to have it split into 2 portions. The soup as one portion must be quite large because it was a decent portion for both of us. Although I was not a big fan of the soup’s flavor there was a decent amount of lobster in it. For dinner, I ordered the lamb chops (delicious and cooked medium well) with the loaded mash (not well seasoned) and the grilled vegetables (very delicious with a nice charred taste). My boyfriend ordered the ribeye and sea salt fries, which he enjoyed. We were never offered a dessert menu which I found to be odd (especially considering I watched our same server offer dessert to another table) but my boyfriend was presented with a complimentary birthday cheesecake slice that had great flavor. Upon leaving we received a parting gift which contained a blueberry muffin. All in all this place is beautiful and sure to impress any date. There is room for growth but overall a nice dining experience."

"Book it now! This place was five star from beginning to end. This place quickly shot into my top 3 favorite steak restaurant, of all time. Let’s start with the service. Our server was so detailed yet made it fun and created an air of elegance for our evening. He did a detailed display, showing us the steak options in raw form. This really helped with our selection of the porterhouse steak. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I could taste the age on the steak, in a good way! Juicy, tender, with a salted seared exterior. Chef kiss amazing! Even my Caesar salad was probably the best Caesar salad I’ve had. Fresh fresh fresh! This place was a 10 out of 10 and worth every dime spent. We drove an hour for this place, and will do it again in heartbeat. you will not be disappointed if you are a steak lover. I put this on the level of chops, lobster bar and Bones!"

"Impressive. Definitely on their way to a Michelin Star. From the spectacular service at valet to the hostesses to the servers to the food, I couldn't believe how well they were executing great service. The food was also exceptional. The dover sole was the best we have had in Atlanta. The veggies were delicious. The attention to detail was impeccable. Can't wait to go back. It's like every member of the staff was on a mission to ensure we were taken care of and treated like royalty. That's how you run a restaurant. It was even raining at the end and valet saw us coming and opened the door for us and processed our car while we waited inside. Then they backed up as closely as possible and 2 of them helped us get in to minimize us getting wet. The live music was a great touch. The ambiance is beautiful. It's definitely worth the drive otp. Great job guys."

"Honestly one of the best steakhouse experiences I have had in a long time! Everything was on point from the service, food, and ambiance! We loved all the dishes that were ordered. And the drink list was amazing. They have one of the best tequila lists I have seen in the US! Kudos to the team at H&W and keep it up!"

"First time in tonight. The moment we walked in, greeted happily by 3 people. Right then I knew it was going to be a solid experience. Atmosphere is 10+. Food was excellent and service was awesome. Ellis & Evangelina totally took care of us through the entire dining experience. Big shout out to Joseph running the bar. Great seeing you again and awesome job. Managers came to our table multiple times to check in on everything. Highly recommend. Fantastic restaurant!"
