"At most Checkers locations, you'd expect the food to out shine the service... Not at this one. The burgers are typically over cooked and the fries over fried - the flavors are there (recognizably Checkers) but there's something missing... perhaps it's a lack of pride in the food they are serving. The Big Bufords look more like "juniors" it's not that classicly crafted burger you'd expect from the Checkers reputation... But, at 1:00 in the morning, your fast-food options are severely limited... The service at drive-thru and walk-up is good and staff is relatively polite. The general atmosphere of the restaurant is a direct reflection of the neighborhood... It can get a little rough. Again, when you have that craving for a burger and fries late at night, your options are limited - This Checkers location still saves the day (night) when you need them most."

"Arrived a little before midnight on a Saturday expecting a long line, but I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to place my order immediately with an automated system. No hello from the worker, but she processed my payment quickly and food was provided seconds later. My burger looked a hott mess, but was tasty and the fries were great as always!"

"I was heading to work and stopped by to order the pick 2 Double fish, double chicken sandwich and large fries. I arrived to work and noticed I had the chicken sandwich but a double cheeseburger instead. I was looking forward to seeing what I ordered but I was highly disappointed because I do not eat beef. I threw away the entire meal and of course my hard earned money on top. I knew I spoke clearly when I was responding to the automated ordering system that you all have now."

"UPDATE*** 11/27/22… I’m missing two items I purchased for delivery and no one will answer the phone. I took one bite of the sandwich and almost gagged. I’m not sure what happened to this place but definitely find somewhere else to eat if you don’t want food poisoning. Only good thing they have at this point are the fries. Went one time and the food was pretty good. When I went on 10/6/22….i got a raw burger with a cold bun :/"
