"WOW, the BBQ is delicious! We ordered ribs and added their house sweet BBQ sauce, it was amazing! My wife wanted to try the nachos and pulled pork, I made it a double portion meat and again added the house sweet BBQ sauce and again we loved it! Yummy, yummy, yummy! The staff were friendly and they have indoor seating for about 80 people. They had a constant flow of to-go orders, which is not surprising at all. We were surprised with the generous portions and reasonable prices too. Give them a try I'm sure you'll love it too!"
"My first to Chucks, recommendby my friend who came with me for lunch. It was lunchtime, and I observed a large number of locals in attendance, along with workers on their lunch time. We ordered the pulled beef sandwich and water. Understanding there were a lot of people there for lunch, and we observed lots of phone pickup orders being filled. There was a little longer time waiting for our counter order. The food with a good amount of meat was ok. However, the buns were somewhat soggy . and didn't appear toasted. In our opinion, there needed to be more bar b que sauce or some additional spices in the meat. There was quite a number of seats, and most were filled. I recommend getting there before or after lunchtime."
"I recently visited Chuck's BBQ Restaurant with high hopes of enjoying a satisfying barbecue meal. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations in several aspects. Firstly, the staff at Chuck's BBQ Restaurant lacked friendliness and enthusiasm. They seemed disinterested and unhappy to be there, which created a negative atmosphere throughout my visit. Customer service plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience, and it was disheartening to see this aspect lacking. Moreover, the quality of the BBQ itself was quite underwhelming. The taste resembled that of a refrigerated grocery store BBQ, which was far from the authentic, smoky flavor I had anticipated. The lack of freshness and depth of flavor in the meat was disappointing, and it failed to leave a lasting impression. In addition to the disappointing BBQ, the portion sizes of the sides were quite small. They were served in little containers, allowing for only 4 or 5 bites. This left me feeling unsatisfied, considering the price I paid for the meal. At $30 for two meals, I found the overall experience to be overpriced and not reflective of the value received. In conclusion, my visit to Chuck's BBQ Restaurant left me feeling disappointed. The unfriendly staff, lackluster BBQ quality, and inadequate portion sizes of the sides did not justify the price I paid. While I appreciate the effort to provide BBQ cuisine, there is room for improvement in several areas to deliver a more satisfying dining experience."
"Been traveling the country and eating BBQ all along the way, and Chuck's provided the best ribs I have ever tasted. Perfectly cooked - nice and tender with a bit of bite near the bone. Great flavor - nice and smoky with a peppery kick; not needing any sauce, though the vinegary sauce is an excellent compliment. We also tried out the chopped chicken sandwich. While it was delicious; generous with the pickles (I loved that there was a pickle panini pressed into the top bun!), it was nothing to write home about. The sides were okay, not a super creamy coleslaw, slightly above average beans, but the favorite was the macaroni salad - nice and creamy and refreshing. Don't sleep on the pies!"
"Really good bbq chicken sandwiches and fries. The slaw was not the best but still good. Prices are fair and quality of bbq chicken excellent with not fatty skin. Restrooms are clean and tables are wiped between customers. The sweet tea was great and not like some places where the tea tastes like sugar water. Plenty of parking and easy access in and out."
