McDonald's

"This morning has been rather hectic for me coming into the office so much so that I was in my car praying the entire way. I very very rarely stop at McDonalds, but today will be a long one so I decided to grab something to eat. I was all over the place with my ordering and yet the young lady taking orders at the drive-thru had such a beautiful and pleasant disposition even after I changed my mind on things multiple times. When I apologized, she said, "Oh no, it's ok." When I arrived at the window to pick up my food, the young man greeted me with a smile as well as he passed me my sweet tea! And then the third person, who I learned is the manager, came to thew window to let me know she was waiting on my condiments and she was just as pleasant, smiling and so professional. I always make it my business to give kudos when they are do, because we should let people know when they are doing awesome just as we are quickly as we are to let them know when they are not doing so great! These three interactions changed my entire day in just 6 minutes. You never know what people are going through. Now I'm smiling and going into this first meeting with a whole different disposition of my own, simply because strangers were so pleasant towards me this morning."

"They seemed a little busy and the manager was doing most of the work. One young lady working the prep station next to the bun toaster, seemed to do the bare minimum. She was more interested in her phone than preparing orders. Although I ordered through the app I did wait a little but the manager addresses me early and let me know there would be a wait. I appreciate an establishment being up front and setting a customer's expectations. This way the customer is informed and can make a decision to stay or leave. I am willing to stop back in to see if the waits are little better."

"I will be honest about it. Most of the times i don't have good experiences with McDonald's, even though I love them. However, this location, my usual breakfast mobile pick-up spot before work, has been great. Clean, friendly, and quick in-and-out. And, this person named Lynell, I think he is an assistant manager or shift-leader, has been superb: always smiling, friendly, kind and accommodating. The other day for some reason my mobile order didn't go through correctly, but he made it right without any delay. Man, one of the best, if not the best, experience at McDonald's. Thank you for making my morning routines pleasant!!!"
