"I don’t know if this spot lost its liquor license or what but something about my dining experience just didn’t sit right with me. The menu indicated that I was getting two of strongest daiquiris sold, yet after drinking almost all of my drink, the taste of concentrated juice was never ending. I basically paid $13 for a large slushie. Then my grandfather ordered a frozen margarita and I kid not, it tasted like straight sour mix. I proceeded to ask for a shot to add to my slushie and the waitress stated “we aren’t serving any wine, beer, or mixed drinks, we don’t have any shots.” I mean.. I’m not a rocket scientist but… I don’t know how.. the daiquiri spot (with a drink menu that covers the full front of the menu).. isn’t selling any alcohol and they still possess a license. Common courtesy would be to inform people before wasting $200 on drinks and “unlimited” crab legs. I say “unlimited” because in my mind, unlimited means when I ask my waitress for more, some are coming out within a few moments. Here? “He’s coming around” and “he” is only bringing out one cluster every 45 min-1 hr out of a painters bucket. Won’t be back and would definitely not recommend. Y’all gotta do better. Folks paying their hard earned money to enjoy a dining experience— would you want someone bluffing you?"
"My first time here was pleasant. I took a star off because the food that I was served didn't have what was advertised on the menu. It states the catfish tacos comes with coleslaw and tartar sauce. I was given traditional taco toppings: onion, tomato, salsa, cheese and sour cream. The food was hot and good. The fish was crispy and golden brown. The waitress was accommodating. She stated she was the only one there. She did great for that reason. I don't recall her giving her name so I can properly credit her. The drinks were good. I ordered a lemon drop. Everything was frozen. I wasn't aware that mixed drinks weren't served on the rocks, but I guess a Daiquiri is just that. The music was blaring, so much so that you can't hold a conversation without yelling. The DJ played good songs. If you want a Friday night vibe, just to relax, enjoy drinks and food with little conversation, this is the spot. I wouldn't recommend for an intimate date."
"Can here today for some drinks and food for the first time trying something new. Came in with a group of 6 and when I arrived. They told us they had to find a table to accommodate which is normal we then waited and the host forgot about us we had to remind her we was waiting. Then when we were finally seated we ordered drinks then they told us the kitchen was closes at 10:00 PM when they close at 1:00 AM is ridiculous. Then after complaining about that was told if we order it’s a 2 hour wait on food when the restaurant was half full is ridiculous. Never will I return I’m leaving and going to Apple bees."
"I stopped by this place on a Saturday night with a couple of girlfriends. Definitely need to get there early because the parking was ridiculous. I ended up parking at a facility behind the restaurant, but I was fearful I would get towed. Luckily, other cars were there too. The restaurant was crowded and the music was jumping. As an appetizer, I ordered the fried jumbo shrimp and had them tossed in Buffalo sauce. They were excellent. For entrees, the table ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, the factory sampler, and the fish and grits. They had decent drink specials. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals, but the service was really slow. Since the place was really busy and the server was actually nice, we didn't hold it against her."
