The Melting Pot

"The GM was extremely kind and welcoming. We were celebrating my daughters' grades and she made sure to recognize that. The reason for 3 stars in the service category was because our server was very impersonal and did not seem to enjoy her job. She did not go over anything regarding cooking time, what she was pouring in the fondue, the sauces, the different meats on the tray, nothing. I had to keep asking questions which was so different than the last time we visited. We just did not enjoy her service but the restaurant is nice, food is great, and GM is wonderful. My daughters did not eat all their food and we put in a box to go but forget. I was pretty bummed about that especially because of the price. That was on me though."

"This was my first time at a Melting Pot location. I must say I was disappointed. The food was of decent quality, but the amount of food was definitely not a good value for the price. I'm used to high end venues such as Ruth's Chris & Capital Grille. Melting Pot charges high end prices but doesn't offer much. Our server (Isaac) appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and moreover seemed to have little knowledge of the menu or policies. I brought his possible intoxication to the manager's attention; She told me that he always acted like he was high (WTAF?). There were also several servers moving partitions around, disturbing our experience. The place needs an update in decor. It's seriously stuck in 1987 in there, looks really dim and tired. Maybe consider a joint venture with the Morning House Korean BBQ across the street? Need some fresh ideas or they should hang it up and close. I don't give a lot of reviews, but this place needs a wakeup call. They added a mandatory 20% gratuity to the ticket, making the amount $272 for myself and my girlfriend. We stopped at Pizza Hut to supplement the paltry amount of food from the Melting Pot..... Luckily I had a few dollars left to pay. Stay away from this place, unless they have a marked improvement."

"This Melting Pot location is fantastic! My sister and I we’re celebrating the publishing of our first book and Isaac made us feel very special. He made the bread substitutions that we requested and was very attentive. The food as always was good and service was prompt. This location is clean and comfortable. They have tall booths with warm lighting. It would be great for a date or any special occasion where a little privacy is appreciated. I would highly recommend this location if you enjoy Melting Pot or want to try it for the first time."

"First time dinning here & definitely will NOT be the last time. As soon as my partner and I stepped through the door, we felt so welcome by the manager at the hostess stand. We were sat very quickly & served right away. The staff was some of the nicest people I’ve ever been served by at a restaurant. The food was impeccable!! Give yourself 2hours minimum to really enjoy the experience and food if you visit. 11/10 overall (food, staff, customer service, experience)!!"
