"Absolutely delicious every time! I love the batter on the chicken fingers, the Rooster sauce, and crinkle fries! I began going when I was a student at AU 1994-1997. I'm so glad there is now one in Lanett and in Roanoke! The one in Lanett is just a few miles from my home and the one in Roanoke is close to Traylor's, where my dad is in the nursing home. My dad requested Guthrie's for dinner on his 81st birthday this past January 10th, so I brought it to him and hand fed him 2 chicken fingers, a few fries, and half a piece of toast. He thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it! The service has been outstanding every single time I've been and they are very quick. They have been very friendly. I usually go through the drive thru, but I have eaten inside a couple times. It was very clean inside both the restaurant and in the restroom. Great food, service, staff and the prices have not risen (or, at least, have not risen as much as other places)! My husband and I can still eat a delicious dinner for under $25 which is hard to find these days!"

"Love Guthrie's. Their sauce is the best! Staff was very pleasant and they received a 100 score from the health department. That's a big deal! I wish when the tenders were small they would maybe add an extra in because these were pretty tiny and I also would have liked my fries to be a little bit crispier but all in all it was a great place to grab a bite of good hot food!"

"Giving it 5 star across the board because the food was THAT good. The staff was not friendly. Our clerk wouldn’t even look at me when I placed our order but that’s ok. I’ll forgive all of that because the food was PERFECT. If you’re a Zaxby’s fan, you won’t be, after eating at Guthrie’s. Everything about Zaxby’s OG menu is a complete copycat of Guthrie’s except Guthrie’s did it better. Gutherie’s was established in 1965. Zaxby’s, 1990. Guthrie’s chicken had a way better batter, was juicy and actually broke apart when you got it. It also wasn’t super salty. Zaxby’s chicken bends, it’s always dry, no matter what chain you go to, and, it’s SO salty. Guthrie’s fries were better cooked, signature sauce was WAY BETTER than Zax sauce, and the coleslaw was PERFECT. Toast was also fresh and not what we call, “Zaxby’s Stale…” Just found out that a Guthrie’s opened locally and we hope it puts the neighborhood Zaxby’s out of business. LONG LIVE THE ORIGINAL CHICKEN TENDER CREATOR. Gutherie’s made us a believer."

"Second time trying Guthrie's in Lanett! Nice young lady took my order inside! I guess it's cooked to order because it took 10-15 minutes to get my order to go! Chicken has a great flavor and the fries were good too! I love Cole Slaw but there's isn't all that good! It isn't chopped but more sliced and has a vinegary taste to it! May give it another try next time!"

"We ended up accidently finding some of the best chicken your ever gunna be howling for guaranteed, take the check to the bank. The staff was incredible, friendly, and fast. The facilities were immaculately cleaned. Even all the condiments were fully stocked and pleasantly arranged. We have been to a few Guthrie's and we are always blown away but this was the best ."
