"I called to make an appt for a hair cut. I am super busy with work and school and a single mom. We went thru several different days and times to what worked for me, Monika got frustrated and yelled at me over the phone "Do you want a f@##%^ hair cut or not!" I was shocked! I dont know how this lady stays in business! She needs meds or something. Its really sad actually."

"Wow, not sure where to start! First I want to say that I NEVER give bad reviews but this one is warranted. I hope to save someone from the upsetting and very frustrating experience that I just went through. After spending over 4 hours at Salon Monika (receiving highlights by the owner/stylist Monika Wells) I want to advise you against visiting this stylist. When I went in to try to discuss my unhappiness with my hair with her (some of my hair was WHITE & GRAY not blonde) I was treated extremely rudely and I was threatened by her and thrown out of her shop. There were several customers who all witnessed her vile behavior and can testify that I was extremely calm and rational and tried to discuss with her my issues and she flatly refused to discuss anything with me, I was called a liar and told to leave her shop immediately or she would call the police. Rather than make a further scene I left. She called me on the phone a couple days later apologizing and saying that she was just under a lot of stress that day and asked me to come back in and she would fix my hair, after I told her that I was not comfortable coming back to her shop and having her do anything to my hair, that I just wanted a refund and would go somewhere else and have it fixed she again got IRATE. She refuses to refund my money and says that I just wanted a free hair job. Yeah like anyone would want white and gray streaks in their hair. I have filed a dispute with the Better Business Bureau as well as my bank. I feel that things could have been handled much differently had she not been so aggressive and irrational; unfortunately she would not give me the opportunity to discuss things in a calm and adult manner. I would not advise ANYONE to do business with this stylist, her attitude and unwillingness to talk with me was very unprofessional and I am truly shocked by her behavior."
