Reviews of ARI Korean BBQ & The Cakeshop
"We had valentines dinner here with Wagyu beef. I didn’t think it was really quality Wagyu. It tasted good but not that great. The service was very good, he took care of us very well. I might come back for regular menu next time. 8/10 . Recommend this place"
"This place is a MUST DO in Johns Creek. I’ve been 3 times now and gotten amazing service , cocktails and high quality all you can eat Korean bbq. The waygu bulgogi is to die for. The attached cake shop is super cute and has delicious macaroons . I travel to Johns Creek regularly from Colorado and I will absolutely be back to Ari & The cake shop!"
"Took my daughter and we really liked it. Got the bulgogi beef and spicy chicken. Beef was really good. Potato pancake and kimchi dishes very good. Ramen was decent. Halal options are clearly marked which is great. It’s pricey but you get a lot of food and it was all pretty yummy. Definitely would go back."
"The “wagyu” brisket was so tough. There was nothing wagyu about it. $110 + $12 + 20% tip =$145 for 2 people was not worth. You’re better off going to another Korean bbq place that charges $30 person! The cheese corn was slightly burnt. The egg soufflé was hard and overcooked ! Worst Korean barbecue ever. The ribeye steak they gave was not ribeye! They gave us flank streak. The short ribs was sooo chewy. I ate with my Korean date and he had to spit out twice into a napkin! He was so disappointed. He said he will never got back again. He said 1 year ago was good and now everything changed there"
"We recently dined at Ari Korean Steakhouse in Johns Creek (near Atlanta) with a party of six (via appointment). We were seated promptly, and parking was a breeze, which is always a plus. We opted for the Wagyu all-you-can-eat (AYCE) menu at $50 per person. The table was spacious enough for all of us, but there was only one grill, which made cooking for six a bit time-consuming. Given that each table has a 90-minute limit, this could be a concern if you're in a larger group. When it comes to the meat options, we went all in—Wagyu Brisket, Wagyu Jumuluk, LA Galbi, Wagyu Soy And Sesame Brisket Ribeye, and Thick Cut Porkbelly. My personal favorite was the LA Galbi, which was tender and well-marinated, though my sister and mom found it a tad salty. My dad stuck to the Brisket, as it was the only non-marinated option. I'd skip the Ribeye next time; it was a bit on the tough side. The Thick Cut Porkbelly was tasty, but given the cost per person at $50/person, one serving was enough. On the side, we had Fried Beef Dumplings, Cheesy Egg Souffle, Chapagetti, Pan Fried Veggie Pancake, and Soybean Stew. Most were hits, but the Soybean Stew missed the mark, as it didn't taste authentic and had an overabundance of gochugaru (red pepper flakes). One minor gripe—I wish they offered cho-gochujang as a dipping sauce. If you're familiar with Korean BBQ spots, my advice would be to visit Ari with a smaller group, maybe 2-4 people, or consider sitting separately to make the most of your 90 minutes. Ari Korean Steakhouse offers a decent dining experience, especially if you're a Wagyu fan, but keep the group size and time limit in mind."
