Waffle House

"During the day the cook and waitresses don't really pay attention to your order especially if you make any substitutions. And its happened on multiple occasions. But in the evening and late night the waitresses and cooks are a Godsend, if you're eating late off work or just because. Food was excellent and waitresses were super friendly. NO mistakes and coffee was hot and plentiful. Suffice to say go here after 5pm and before 5am for the best experience."

"It’s Waffle House. Cleaner and less of a disappointment in humanity than a typical Waffle House visit. The food tastes amazing when going down rue ole hatch. But let’s be honest, it probably took a solid 30 days off my life. But hey, it’s a southern institution."

"Line cook is a train-wreck and either can handle Waffle House speed or just doesn’t care. Ordered 2 sausage hashbrown bowls, add cook tomatoes to one of them. Ended up with hash browns no cheese, for a little bit of sausage that looked barely cooked and no tomatoes. I said something and first ended up with raw tomatoes dumped on top not cooked. I said something again and cook gets an attitude. He then realizes he forgot the cheese, so he tossed a couple pieces of cheese on top. For $26, at least cook it like you are supposed to by following the steps you were trained. Not doing this again I will go to J Christopher’s. When they mess it up they will happily remake it to their menu specifications."

"This is my 2nd time at this location and a few days ago I walked in and Shay and her brother (cook) were there. Impeccable service all around. Personalities were both great and so was the food. So I came back a second time and told me husband that she wasn’t here this time or her brother, so the food might not be that good.. well Christie was our waitress this time, and she was pretty good too. The cook was a slim white guy, and my husband said, oh yeah, his hat is turned backwards, he’s about to do his thing “.. well he did. The food was great again and he would occasionally come to our table and ask did we need anything. Shay eventually came in and greeted us and was very nice . This location is by far one of the best that I’ve been to. I hope that it stays that way!! Kudos to whoever hired this crew. They all seemed to work well together!"
