"The empanadas were excellent. The paella was very good but not outstanding. If I give the best paella I had (in Spain) a 10, this would be a 8. Nothing wrong with the flavor... just needed more of it. Imagine a good soup tasting a bit too bland by having too much water in it... this paella had too much rice. Another way to put it, given that the price wasn't exactly cheap, they should increase the quantity of every single ingredient, including spices, except for the rice. That would increase the flavor level a bit."
"This restaurant is amazing! We had Katie as our server and she was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The food here tastes really fresh and authentic. Please try the empanadas with the crab!! Update: I’ve been to the new location and the food is still wonderful. I ordered the crab empanadas, fried adobo chicken, and queso. Our server Sam was very nice and the food came out pretty quickly. The cilantro mashed potatoes were way better than before."
"Calle Latina offers a variety of arepas, pinchos, ceviche and entrees. The ambience is trendy with Lloyd music in the background. We ordered arepas, picanha pinchos and empanadas. Time from order to serve was 32 minutes, which is high. The manager gave us some chips and salsa to eat on an interim. The arepas were spicy with good flavors. The beans used for the rice were really bland. The pincho had a 4 pieces on a bed of vegetables. The pinchos had no flavor. The restaurant needs better seasoning on their food."
