"Under new management!! He never says hello. We walked by our table looking straight at us 4 times before saying hi. He is always in the back. Not sure if this has to do with new management but the regular dish I always get was not taste at all. I am a regular for 14 years since they opened. I don’t like the salad, I always substitute with extra rice and yuca. The waitress said new management said we can no longer do that. Knowing I am probably the only person that orders it a specific way and they would do it for me because of the years I have been going there. Very sad. Change was done but definitely not an upgrade for Papis. The old manager knew his customers and always went and spoke to them. Made you feel at home, the new looks unapproachable and definitely not humble."

"Very authentic Cuban sandwich. The bread was perfect, pressed yet somehow still soft. The ropa viaja was good. Really wanted to give 5 stars but a full star off for not having some menu items and not updating menu, as well as waiter being non apologetic about it. Will return and try other dishes"

"We usually go to the Papi’s in Kennesaw and the food there is usually good. However the food at Papi’s in Stockbridge was outstanding! We had the sweetest waitress and she was so attentive and made great suggestions on substitutions. I really enjoyed my dining experience and plan to go back very soon."

"I really hate to do this, coming from a latina, but i think i ordered the wrong stuff onthe wrong day. Pictures look great but the food was so tastless, not sooo fresh, totones were so hard and crunchy i could barely get my teeth thru the bite, it was so hard. The meat was so oily. It didnt have flavor and just tasted like oil. The rice was so watery, mushy, and same had a tastless oily watery flavor. Beans were ehhh ok also dry. Salad had literally one small piece of tomato and 1 onion. Like huh! Had the croquites and it was so mushy and no real texture but it was ok with that garlic white sauce. That was good actually the sauce. The tres leche was so frozen and dryyyyy. Super duper dry. This cake is usually very moise. And it was thee worst tres leche ive ever had. Thank goodness it had the milk inthe bottom of it to soften it & moist it up somehow. This was very disappointing. Very. Pics look so much better than what it actually tasted like. Also the table next to me complained how the waitress was about to get his son a margarita. He asked me to guess his sons age i guessed 19 but he said 16yo. Train your staff cause godforbid it was the state. That being said the staff lacked alot but they were sooo sweet. Super sweet. I did have to make it obvious to the other servers that mine has been away for a while to just refill my water. I didnt have water from when i got my entree. And the other table that spoke to me did say that what they ordered actually tasted good. They had the arroz con pollo. Even tho my dishes were horrible for them they weren't so i dont mind trying another dish another time. Very disappointed in mines esp how harshly tough hard crunchy the tostonos were. Yes they are crunchy but not like this. This was painful to my teeth and bite. Everything minus the lettuce had something disappointing."

"This place has some good food and service. For a lunch time meal the place, the cost was very affordable, and the wait for the food was as expected. I ordered the Mediterranean shrimp with yellow rice and it is served with a side salad and plantains. The black beans were added as a side. The food was tasty the shrimp were lightly seasoned. The plantains were sweet and delicious. That mango pineapple vinaigrette dressing for the salad needs to be sold on grocery store shelves. I would recommend trying this place if your in the mood for some really flavorful Cuban food!"
