"A friend and I came here for my birthday. I didn't want to do the usual fancy spot. Besides, I've really missed Ron & Gladys chicken and waffles. I believe this was formerly another restaurant that I ate at in the past. The place still has the same sticky floors, like some sugary substance was spilled on the floors. The waffles were extremely thin but had a nice flavor. The fried chicken had a nice taste but was too dark, almost near being burnt. We had chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits had like 4 medium-sized shrimps. I wouldn't visit this location again. Maybe I'd give the Midtown location a try!"

"First time going to this place. I went with some friends and family. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. Service was spot on and they had a live dj. If you are in the area and want to try some good chicken and waffles visit this spot. They have a variety of waffles and they were all good. At least the few i tried."

"We were heading back to Chicago and decided to stop in for breakfast. Had the breakfast pancakes and chicken and waffles and both were delicious. Our server Jewel was amazing, had a great energy and made us feel at home. We would definitely recommend this place and will be back for breakfast."

"Please don’t believe the hype!! I love to support black owned businesses but I was very disappointed. First if you are going to have house rules follow them yourself ( house rules attached). Food was very mid I’ve had better waffles at Waffle House. Bacon was burnt, potatoes were dry and hard. Our food was left out before being brought to us the kitchen staff called for our waiter 3x before our food came out cold and hard. I couldn’t even get a water our waiter wasn’t in sight. It wasn’t busy at all I came around 4pm. My chicken, some whole wings were seasoned and others weren’t. My Sweet tea was nothing but a bag of sugar. My waffle was cold and hard my butter wouldn’t even melt and it was too much powder sugar. I tried and will not return. All sales are final but they brought out trash. Karlie Redd and Neyo please do better."

"My second time at this establishment and it has been great both occasions. The staff is very friendly and greet you as soon as you walk in. Terri was our server and her energy for a Monday morning was very welcoming and entertaining! The atmosphere was laid back with great music. The food was DELICIOUS emphasis on the Cajun pasta! Yes I ate pasta for breakfast :-). The French toast was also a banger! The original chicken and waffles were good. We will return! Thank you for a great experience and wonderful food!"
