"i went to this place because i was craving mediterranean and i think Grecian Gyro is really bland. the chicken kebab platter and side salad i got from La Shish were so delicious! the turmeric rice was cooked perfectly and the hummus had good flavor. the tzatziki actually tasted like cucumber instead of a plain white sauce. this place also was nice and spacious on the inside, it will absolutely be my new go to."
"This place is great, totally legit mediterranean dishes. It’s fast, not a fancy restaurant, but perfect for taste and outdoor seating. We eat here at least once a month."
"I had the Greek Salad with gyro meat. The salad was fine but the meat was very thin, cooked hard on one side, and saturated in oil in a side paper dish it was served in. I took many napkins trying to soak oil away from the meat. Very disappointed!!!!"
"Nice place, maybe 4-5 years old and well maintained. The lamb shank was flavorful and soft, with a bit more curry than expected. The rice is fairly strong, with a turmeric flair to it. You only get two quarter slices of pita with a platter, which is dissapointing, especially with the amount of hummus you get on the same dish. I've had gyro plates everywhere, and they *always* come with a cold green (lettuce, cucumber, pickle, pepper, etc) to go between the meat/rice and tzatziki/pita. This place's gyro platter is just the half round of pita, rice, and hummus. Great service."
