"Always a fun experience eating at Food Terminal. We have been to the Buford Highway location a number of times but this was our first time at the Alpharetta restaurant. Service was good and food, although a bit slower to arrive than what we are used to at Buford Highway, was very flavorful and enjoyable. One thing we did notice was the dirty floors and restrooms, which definitely needs to be addressed. Overall a good outing but we will most likely go to the Buford Highway location next time we crave something from Food Terminal."
"Food Terminal is a good place to have dinner or lunch near North Point Mall. My husband and I came around 5pm on Saturday, there were tables available and we were seated as soon we arrived. Our server was very friendly, and received us with a big smile, he could clarify the Alpharetta Restaurant Week menu. We choose the event options and all plates were delicious. Super cool the robot server bring our plates, but it was not alone. Our server came in sequence to help grab all of it to the table. The ambience is a very informal place, I didn’t feel cozy. It gave me a feeling of a fast food restaurant by the appearance. However, it is not a fast food. Maybe the ambience is the only downside but just because it is too cold decoration per my perception. But it is clean, modern."
"My first time here, our server Max was awesome and patient with us. They have gained a regular customer(s). The employees were great, the food just as great. Yes, they have plenty of parking space and handicap parking, outdoor seating. We are just blown away from how well the food was. Go visit."
"First time here... Got there around noon on a Sunday. Nice modern style and relaxed atmosphere when we went. Has a very interesting and diverse menu of choices. Some items are pricier than others, so read carefully. I liked the colorful and lively menu book... Has nice hi-res pictures of all the dishes...certainly better than most other places and the tiny boring text you can't read. We ordered the Roasted Mushroom Garlic Noodle and the Curry Tofu Claypot. Also got the white coffee which was really good. The Thai tea is ok if a little sweeter than my liking. Our server was very polite, courteous and was prompt attending to us. Liked their ordering and delivery system. They actually have robots to bring the food to the table... There are no balancing acts of trays over the heads of waiters and when we were there, we never heard any plates or glasses, which was refreshing. The food got to us very quickly...@10 minutes. The presentation was excellent, the food temperature was piping hot which I look for. The portions are sized appropriately as well. The Roasted Mushroom Garlic Noodle was tasty and cooked well. Needed a little more spinach though, but really good flavor. Butter flavor comes through, so I do recommend getting a curry dish to go with it. We also had the Curry Tofu Claypot. Very pricey, but portioned right. Very good presentation and temperature. The sliced eggplant on top was cooked and flavored perfectly as were the Tofu cubes. The okra and eggplant cubes in the gravy probably needed more time on the stovetop to cook through. The spice level was good as well. Pricier than expected, but all-around still worth it. If I have to pick one thing I didn't care for, it would be the cleanliness level of the dishware. We noticed that one of our plates somehow had rice stuck to it from the plate stacked on top, as was its replacement. Third was fine though. The plates are simple black plastic and have ridges, so perhaps the dishwasher is not able to handle it. Over time that may get worse, so something to watch for. I think the ownership should switch it to simple white or yellow ceramic plates. It would fit their color scheme, contrast with the black bowls very well and be much easier to keep clean. We were also missing knives and spoons, but that is easily fixable if really needed. We were able to manage without it. Overall, the place was a nice change from the basic restaurants out there. If you're in the neighborhood, I recommend it."
"Excellent food and excellent service. Han was our waiter and he was excellent. Very friendly and patience as we could decide between all the delicious menu options. He helped us narrow down our choices. We were very pleased with the food. Quality and flavors were spot on. Highly recommend the Food Terminal of you are craving Malaysian cousin."
