"Our family line dances at Brimstone weekly and we absolutely Love this place! The best servers welcome you and make you feel like family. The dancers are playful, fun loving and are willing to share their joy if you are ready and willing. We've been going since they started this Country Night and still invite everyone we meet who need a place to go to get exercise and feel connected. So incredibly blessed to have this gem right here in our own neck of the woods."
"Low key tavern with kind staff and fantastic food. Standouts include: - Pork Chops - Cobb Salad (add avocado) - Jumbo Pretzel - Glazed Salmon - Cajun Pasta (shrimp or chicken, they're both great) - Brimstone Meatballs - Buffalo Chicken Wrap - Nachos (be good to yourself and get avocado on that too) - Club Sandwich - Bahn Mi (try it as a salad!) Stay away from the burgers and wings. They're okay, but not nearly as delightful as your other options. For good sides, try the sauteed brussels or sweet potato tots! On top of the staff and menu, you'll find chill vibes among regulars and newbs alike, from dance to darts to poker - people come here to let their hair down and have fun. This place is a gem."
"This was our first time checking out Brimstone Restaurant and Tavern, and it definitely didn't disappoint. They are veteran owned and operated, which was a big draw for us. We love supporting those who fought for our freedoms. The owner and his wife were so friendly and fun to talk to, as were the friendly patrons; they all just make you feel welcome, that's for sure. The drinks and food were absolutely delicious, and we definitely are going to be coming back."
"Came here for first day of Alpharetta Restaurant Week 2023. I haven't ever been here before. I sat at the bar. There were 8 others also sitting at bar. The waitress was nice. She didn't have the restaurant week menu so had to run and get it. The menu is confusing as it offers two starters, but there was only one of me, so don't know. I ordered fried pickles, gyro, and banana pudding. The pickles were good and hot temp. Loved the fried coating very crispy. The gyro came out on a flat pita bread and 5+ tomatoes, lettuce and a little sauce and 5 little strips of chicken. There was no way to fold it so I just tried to cut and eat. Nothing spectacular and odd for a gyro. The potatoes had no taste. The waitress told me they were out of banana pudding. Not a great way to start restaurant week when you're out of one of 2 desserts offered. The other dessert was ice cream. It came out 15 minutes after I started eating my meal. I managed to rush and finish to eat the melted ice cream. No one cared, no one talked to me...sad start to my reviews of Alpharetta Restaurant. Probably won't be back when I have so many other solid choices. Sad as I was hoping to find a gem tucked away....$25 later I left."
