"The food was very tasty, especially the black beans. Yellow rice was seasoned a little different than expected but still very good. Roast pork was also good but it was extremely shredded. I've never had pork that shredded before. Finally the tea was much better than I normally get around town. It had an excellent flavor. The staff was the highlight of my visit. Very attentive and engaging. I highly recommend this oasis."

"This place is a true gem! Great service, good drinks, amazing atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite places to eat at the Square. I like the authenticity of the restaurant and food. I ordered the Tacos Calle 8, tacos de asada with tortillas de maize. The cubanita quesadilla is also delicious! The rice and beans are always on point."

"Food is phenomenal! I had the Cuban sandwich. The pork was tender and flavorful and the bread just the right crunch and consistency. And the fries...fresh, hot, and crispy. Yum! I had one minor misstep with a to go order, but it was quickly fixed. Fantastic! I will definitely be returning!!"

"I've been there twice, and both times were a bust. I brought my husband the second visit, and his comments were why would you bring me here if it was bad. First visit, I ordered Beef Vaca frita, which was not crispy and lacked flavor and the second visit I got the grilled fish which was supposed to be grouper but I swear it was as thin as tilapia which I would not have ordered and very salty. We tried, but it definitely fell short of their slogan, "the best Cuban food in town." Papi's is better, but also not as authentic as home coming."
