"My family has been going to this beach for years. My earliest memories were here. Our first trip with my family as an adult was just as memorable!! A small storm came through, and we waited it out by the bathroom. And I was back in 25 min later!! And for $5 for the day, we have been back a few times and will go again before summer is over!"
"Beach was nice. Little girl loved it. Bathrooms were pretty clean. Lots of people there having a good time. Pavilions looked spacious."
"Rocky point Recreational area beac is located in Troup County, Georgia. It is about 21 miles from LaGrange city. The place is very beautiful. Excellent Picnic , boating and recreational activities. Water is very Crystal Clear. Visiting in summer season will be very good. There are lot many places to visit nearby. Another beautiful place is West Point Lake is a man-made reservoir located mostly in west-central Georgia on the Chattahoochee River and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The Chattahoochee river flows in from the north, before flowing through the West Point Dam, which impounds the lake, and continuing to Columbus, Georgia. Of the four major USACE lakes in the ACF River Basin, West Point Lake is the smallest by area containing 25,864 acres (10,467 ha) of water, and has the second shortest shoreline at 604 mi (972 km).[7] The purposes of the reservoir are to provide flood control, hydroelectric power, and water storage."
"Seemed like a nice place with sandy beach and picnic area, plus restrooms. Corp engineer place and it cost us $5 to ride through grab a picture and use the facilities. Hardly no one there."
"Absolutely one of my favorite places to fish. Today was our first time at this park. The camp hosts are super nice (Harriet and Darwin)."
