Cook Out

"I absolutely love COOKOUT on Austell Rd. I didn’t have anything bad to say until recently. I have had an encounter with this female in the window about 3 times now. She is very rude and disrespectful with an extremely hostile attitude. I asked for ketchup and she acted like it was a problem. Most recently I ordered hot dogs with mustard and extra onions. Getting extra onions seem to be extremely difficult. I asked at the mic yet when I got the window I didn’t get the extra onions. She always in a hurry and several times no one was behind nor in front of me for her have such frantic behavior. She slam the window in my face. I left feeling extremely disturbed about her service. I pulled off only to return later because she disrupted my disposition so much I didn’t want the food which was prepared perfectly. I sat in my car contemplating what to do. I notice she stands in the window for long periods of time seems to be doing nothing and had an air pod in her ear. She is definitely bad for business. I don’t know her name but I took a picture. Otherwise, I have no other complaints."

"I recently visited this COOKOUT location and received absolutely exceptional service. Joelle the cashier handled the lobby with grace and courtesy. Her smile is everything! She is so friendly and communicative about the wait while providing quality customer service. I truly didn’t mind waiting for my food. And I would love to shout out the Cook which was the manager Dee. I wanted to give praises for Joelle’s service and the Quality of Food prepared by Dee. Then to find out it was just the 2 of them that morning at that time. To be short staffed and provide great service and food should be rewarded. Thank you for the experience… I will be back!! Keep up the good work ladies!!!"

"Treyvon the man that took our order? Rude. I began placing my order by saying, “Hi May I have an order of Cajun chicken quesadilla..” he immediately said “No.” I was taken back so I asked for clarification, “no? As in there aren’t anymore?” Apparently that was the case he just didn’t take any service training to know how to speak. Anyway moving forward.. just look at the photo of the regular chicken quesadilla. I mean why sell it to me if you didn’t care that bad lol. Please pay your people more, I enjoy cookout but it’s always the poor service and carelessness that prevents me from supporting."

"Cook Out is a decent restaurant. You get decent food for a great price. The staff was helpful here and they were patient with my group (we hadn’t eaten here before and the menu is fairly large). The staff at the register helped us navigate the menu. I got a burger, hush puppies, a bacon lettuce wrap, and a butterfinger shake. It tasted fine. The shake had a milky-icy quality to it that I didn’t love. I wouldn’t write home about any of it, and I probably wouldn’t get any of it again unless I was trying to save money. I don’t know if all Cook Out locations have this, but this location has a sink in the lobby area next to the register. I’m not sure if it is for public use, but I used the sink to wash my hands. The floor of the restaurant was very sticky feeling, and before we could sit down I had to grab some cleaning supplies from another table and wipe ours down before we could eat. The reason for the 3-star review is because the food was just fine, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was subpar. The redeeming quality of this restaurant is their staff was very kind and helpful, and the cost of food is affordable for pretty much everyone. Would I eat here again? No, but I certainly wouldn’t judge anyone if they did."
