"This is my second time trying Diddys. I was impressed with the first time, so I decided to try again. I went to the Midtown location to pick up my food. This was definitely out of my way, but I was looking forward to the food. Drive all the way there, too realize they did NOT put my corn bread in the bag that I ordered and paid for. I get it, it was not that much, but the time out of my day to drive all the way down there, the mental stress that comes with dealing with traffic, definitely did not help my disappointment. Food in general is getting expensive so i like to get what i paid for."

"I’m very picky when it comes to soul food but the yams, greens, and Mac and cheese were all delicious. The fried fish could use more seasoning but it was still good. While the food was great the customer service is definitely an issue. Being a first time customer I called to ask a few questions before ordering and the young lady who answered was really rude seems like she didn’t want to be there."

"This was my first time ordering from Mr. Diddy’s. The food was good. The Soul Rolls are delicious! I also ordered fried shrimp. The batter that it was fried in was a little too salty for me but it was still good. The menu items were reasonably priced for the amount of food provided. It wasn’t a problem for me, but, if you don’t like loud music or trap/rap music, I’d recommend calling in and picking up your order. I’ll be going back yo try more items. Definitely recommend."

"Its a take out spot. Inside looks clean and aesthetically pleasing. The person who took my order was friendly and hospitable. The menu items are reasonably priced. The food was cooked to perfection. The only thing that was lacking was salt. Like no salt, but hey once I sprinkled some in there it was perfection. Will definitely be back Loved the soul rolls. The sauce didn’t compliment it. Maybe a gravy dipping sauce would be best. Nonetheless it taste great by itself"
