"We recently moved to the area and were excited to try our closest steakhouse. Unfortunately we were very disappointed by the experience. When we arrived for our reservation we were not greeted until after the hostesses had an entire conversation about how they didn’t know where they needed to seat the tables and then disappeared for about 5 minutes. When we sat down for our meal our server’s greeting was extremely awkward as she proceeded to tell us they didn’t have any soup and were out of the special for the night. Not a big deal but very awkward. The sauce served with the bread service was weird and we ended up asking for butter instead. Before our entrees came our server did crumb the table but swept all of the crumbs directly into the floor. The wedge salad was good but the rest of the food was extremely underwhelming. My husband had the medallions which were fine but overcooked. I had the trout which was probably my least favorite trout dish I’ve ever been served. We decided to give the meal one last shot with dessert and were disappointed again by the cheesecake. I was hoping to find a great local restaurant but we will not be returning."

"We went to aspens after a long time. It was before Covid when we last visited. But we had the same amazing experience. Food service and atmosphere all were very good We were seated right away, got bread as we waited for our entrees. Our server was Alan a bright enterprising young man. He was a delight to talk to and his service was great. We had steaks and the trout! We finished with crème bulee! Everything tasted great The manager also kept checking on us and she was great too! Worth going to celebrate a special occasion"

"*Updated my review from 1 to 3 star, tried this place once more, our server was nicer, but still the food is over priced for the quality. The quality of the food for the price was so bad. Ordered 2 of their most expensive steaks, both came overcooked although we asked for medium and medium well. They gave us a discount but still not worth the money we spent. The waitress was not really nice to us. She would talk to other tables while she was at our table taking our order, she would cut me to talk to the table next to us. She did this several times. She was distracted all the time I was asking about the food. Ordered lobster and it was so tasteless. Their menu is very limited. The only dish i enjoyed was a spinach side. The atmosphere is so nice."

"Aspens was an incredible experience! Our server, Thelma, was so kind and knowledgeable. My husband and I are both gluten free and I am dairy free, and she made sure we felt comfortable and was very aware of ingredients we could and couldn't have in the dishes! The food also tasted amazing! We will definitely be back!"
