"This was my first time going to this restaurant. I ordered my food and waited 2 hours to get it. I watched customers leave, come back and still have to wait, so frustration filled the environment. When I finally received my food, the chicken tenders were horrible. They were dry, hard and tasted like they were fried in extremely old cooking oil. The bright spot was the well-seasoned fries. I also witnessed customers who returned to complain about food they received. The two young ladies taking orders were doing their best to control the situation, but it seemed like the kitchen staff was really overwhelmed and wait times kept getting extended."
"had a great dinner with some really good food. The chicken tenders were very well seasoned. They were not dry, and the french fries needed no extra seasoning. They were perfect. #NorthCobbLAXLovesOtters"
"This was my first time at this otters chicken location. I ordered the tender plate. The location was clean. For the food. The tenders were a decent size. I loved how they were fried and the sauce it was tossed in. As for the fries, they were nasty. It tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Though they had seasoning on hen fries, nothing could get rid of that aftertaste. I wasn’t a fan of the range and how runny it was. I do love that this location has the coke machines that allows you to choose the flavors you want for your soda. I had peach sprite. But the best thing on the plate hands down was the toast. It was nice, buttery and perfectly toasted. I’m in the middle when it comes to the question of if I would go back or not."
"We used to go to the West Cobb location at the Avenues for years; first time at this location. The prices are significantly higher than we expected, which wouldn't have been so bad if the food was still good. We ordered two "full" orders of fried mushrooms, only to receive what would have previously been considered "half" orders (at $11 each)! The mushrooms weren't even battered; it's like they just sprinkled seasoning on them and dropped them in the grease. The fries were greasy and overcooked, as if they'd been cooked earlier and re-dropped. The chicken tenders were OK, but my "tossed" tenders barely had any sauce on them. Even the dipping containers barely had any sauce in them. You can't have both high prices and cut corners and skimp out on all the food at the same time. We won't be returning; hopefully the West Cobb location is still good."
