"Yesterday evening my husband went inside Zaxby's to order our dinner for take out. He place his order and the places mine. I wanted the fried chicken salad, he told them no cheese and NO tomato, that I was highly allergic to tomatoes! He told the person taking the order TWICE I was HIGHLY ALLERGIC to tomatoes. He waited for at least 15-20 minutes to get our food and we always check our order before leaving. He checked ot, didn't see any tomatoes and came home. I opened my salad and was putting in a bigger bowl and buried on the side was a bunch of TOMATOES. IF I just put salad dressing on it and started eating it. I would have gone into anaphylactic shock!! On our receipt it even said no tomato, no cheese! So my dinner salad went into the trash, I couldn't take the chance of injesting a seed or the juice of the tomatoes! I tried SIX times to call Zaxby's and it rang a good 20 times each time!! Zaxby's needs to TRAIN their personal on people with allergies! For some it's a different between life and death! I'm very disappointed in this store, we eat there a lot and they have always been very careful when I tell them of my allergies. My husband said there were only young people working in there last night and he did not see anyone who appeared to be in charge! I don't know if I can ever trust this store again. I my case, I can't take the chance! I took pictures of the salad when I uncovered the tomatoes and I took a picture of the ticket order but there is no where to upload them but would be happy to send them to the general manager of this store if they would like proof!"
"We decided to give this place 2 more chances - we ordered salads in the drive thru on 12/12 only to wait 20 mins get to the window , paid for the salads and then they told us they were not serving salads tonight ! Had to reorder pull around and wait another 15 mins — went back thru tonight ordered salads and one ,pictured above, had 6 pieces of grilled chicken and 3 fried onions -I’m just so tied of paying higher prices for poor food and service. Such a shame for what use to be a great place to eat."
"I was having an issue with something I was trying to order on the app, so I called ahead of time to ask my question and let them know that I would be placing an order under my name and they said they would make the changes necessary since I had let them know ahead of time. I showed up to pick up my order and the changes that had been discussed on the phone were not made to the order. No big deal, I walked up to the counter to address the situation and the girl who "helped" me was SO bothered to be speaking to me and had a disgusted tone. She said "..... I'll remake it if you GIVE IT BACK....." and rolled her eyes. She had yet to make eye contact with me the entire time we had been speaking. I had no intentions of keeping a wrong order, so I handed her my tray, which she proceeded to SNATCH out of my hand and FRUSTRATEDLY ask the kitchen to remake my food, to which the cook also rolled his eyes and snatched my tray. I said to her, with her back still turned, "if they're going to remake it all, it had a large fry." She said, "K!" very short and snappy, without turning around. I received my tray back less than 60 seconds later, it looked correct. I said thank you. She said nothing. She NEVER made eye contact with me. I left and drove the less than 5 minutes back to my job and discovered that not a single thing was edible. Cold, rock hard, dry, fries. The same for the tenders. The boneless wings that were "fixed" were clearly very old and just tossed in fresh sauce. I couldn't eat a single thing off of that tray. I tried to call back twice only to be placed on hold for over 10 minutes the first time and 8 minutes the second time before i gave up. I am SO upset that I spent $18 on NONSENSE and frustration and irritation and INEDIBLE food. And to be treated like a BURDEN by staff???? Awful awful awful experience. I HATE coming here but I love Zaxby's and it's so depressing to have SOMETHING happen EVERY single time."
"I drove 15 miles to realize they did not put sauce in the chicken as ordered. Then they made me drive back all the way for refund. You could tell how the manager didn’t care with an apology that sounded like it was being forced out of her. My son had to spend another hour waiting till i got him something else, somewhere else of course."
