LongHorn Steakhouse 1375 Riverstone Parkway, Canton, GA 30114

"We've been to LongHorn Steakhouse many times throughout the years, but this was our best experience yet. We joined the wait list on our way to the restaurant. They had four hostesses that quickly moved us from 17 on the list to being seated in a cozy booth for 2. Cole was our waiter and quickly delivered us cocktails off their value menu (Jack and Coke $4.99 and Texas Margarita $5.99), followed by Wild West Shrimp Appetizer (loaded with plenty of shrimp for 2) and a hot loaf of bread with butter. We both had the Surf and Turf that featured a 6oz filet that was perfectly grilled medium rare and a 4oz lobster tail. It cae with a salad and side. There were plenty of selections for both. We both had the mashed potatoes and field green salad with house made blue cheese dressing. On the down side, they didn't provide a serving spoon for the shared appetizer which made it difficult to serve with a dinner fork or butter knives for the bread which made it difficult to spread with a large steak knife. Also, the mashed potatoes were drowning in butter."

"I ordered the porthouse and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. The service was just as good. I never ran out of sweat tea and the waitress was always checking on me and getting me anything I asked for with a quickness. Would highly recommend!"

"Steak is almost always cooked perfectly and rarely do I have to wait for service. Consistency is clearly key here. I had the 9oz Flo's filet."

"My husband and I went here for dinner and let me first saying start by saying, everything was wonderful and would highly recommend this restaurant! On our way to the restaurant we were able to call ahead and get our name on a list so we did not have to wait as long. Our waitress, Kerry S. was sweet and attentive. Whenever we had a request for something, which we did a few times, she was always back promptly with what we needed. The complimentary bread and high quality butter, is always a bonus in my book. We ordered an appetizer of the stuffed mushrooms. I cannot describe how amazing these were, the flavor was spot on. Would love to get my hands on the recipe for these! We ate these so quickly forgot to take a picture, sorry. I ordered the sirloin with the shrimp. A mixed green salad and loaded baked potato for my sides. The taste was amazing. Longhorn has never disappointed me when it comes to a steak, and the shrimp were simply delicious. As for the baked potato, one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and if you think you cannot mess up a baked potato, you’re wrong I’ve had some pretty sorry ones in my restaurant experiences. The salad was fresh and I may be mistaken, but I think the ranch dressing was homemade, I know the croutons were I could’ve made a meal out of them by their selves. My husband ordered the porterhouse with baked potato and a Caesar salad. He likes he is a little on the rarer side than I do but they were both cooked fabulously. For dessert. We had the chocolate stampede, big slice, so sweet, so rich took a few bites, took the rest home, a wonderful dessert. What was especially nice was the manager walked around that night to talk to the guest to make sure their meals and experience was a good one. Thank you Andrew it was wonderful to meet and talk with you. As the daughter of a previous restaurant owner I know how important it is to share your complements with the staff and management as well as your complaints. No complaints from this girl. Everything was a great experience."
