Riverpoint

"This is a beautiful way to experience the Tennessee River. There are gorgeous views the entirety of the pathway. I believe the start and endpoint of the trail can be found online as well as the hours the trail/park are open to the public. Parking coincides with various entrances to the Riverfront. There are also emergency call stations along the walkway. I don't think any area of the path exceeds a moderate endurance. In my opinion, the brisk, quiet hours in the morning and evening are the most enjoyable and refreshing. Happy Trails!"

"Ran here the day after Christmas, 8 miles out and back. 18 degrees cold! Great place to park and free too. Lot was pretty empty at 8 am. Plenty of shelters and bathrooms on the way. Nice views of the river, but also lots of manufacturing plants and the water company. Plenty of signs. Trail is mostly concrete and a little boardwalk. A couple nice bridges."

"Nice trail. Started at the dam and rode the bikes down. I recommend the Amnicola Trailhead. Nice quiet trail thru a wooded area with a mix of paved and wooded pathways. Only encountered one cross street on Amnicola, so no real worries about traffic on your walk/ride."
