"Was so excited to come to a relaxing park but it was the opposite. About 10 or so homeless people, all smoking. All right next to the playground too."
"Quiet secluded with no bathrooms to do your do at. Gazebo over ran by someone that doesn't need to be there. The other guys are really nice and polite."
"Great lil space to let the kids play 2 play areas like this and a boat ramp for tubing and Kayaks etc also the lock bridge is here"
"Great park for the kids- smaller sized playground for the younger litttles, rarely crowded. River view, access to walking trails, which are excellent."
"While the park does not offer much in the way for younger children like my toddlers (one small playground), there is a lot of open space, ballparks, a pavilion and picnic shelter, bathrooms, a beautiful view, friendly people, and history. The bridge is definitely worth the trip alone, to see all the love locks and momento mori locks for lovers past and present, as well as commemorating lost loved ones. The park offers baseball and soccer fields, boat docks and fishing. Conveniently located within walking distance of Broad Street's many restaurants and shops."
