"Hamilton co has made it real clear they dont want people fishing here. They just want bike riders and walkers. If you come fish here they will write you a ticket, break into you vehicle or harass you the whole time. Sad to see what has become of Hamilton co workers"
"Cool little park with EXCELLENT fishing! I saw several people slamming catfish out of this section in front of the dam. Local anglers were saying the Smallmouth Bass and Striped Bass in the area are Huge! They said, there's a high probability of catching 20 Inch plus fish out of this area. There is an over abundance of Shad in the area, so artificial baits will be tough, but not impossible. The bathrooms were surprisingly modern and very clean, for the amount of foot traffic. All the fishing piers were clean, and freshly painted. I highly recommend fishing from this spot, if you don't have a boat. I saw one fool trying to brave the rapids in a boat, to get closer to the dam. I hope it worked out for them."
"A great place to hike or bike along the Tennessee Riverwalk Park. Pack your lunch to enjoy at the numerous benches with a view or enjoy the downtown restaurants. Be sure to check out the Osprey and Herons under the dam. The Lilly pads are blooming in June."
"Always a great place to go for a walk and bird watch. Bathrooms spaced throughout the area for easy access. There's always a variety of birds to watch on the water. On my walk yesterday alone I saw, several Ospreys diving for fish, a pair of Bald Eagles, a Red Tailed Hawk, dozens of Great Blue Herons, Double-crested Cormorants, Mallard ducks, a couple Turkey and Black Vultures, some song Sparrows, Killdeer, and Barn Swallows. All photos taken with my Pixel 6 Pro."
"It was so pretty outside so my husband and I stopped here for a little visit as we often do. It was beautiful, we just love this spot. You can see the dam locks and if you walk on down there is a clean restroom you can use. Its really very beautiful. A nice place just to sit if the weather is pretty outside. We come all the time. Great place."
