"Totally worth it!! Highly recomend a visit."
"If you bring any kids, good luck because the cave can be dangerous, 13 and up in my opinion. Go when it is dry outside if possible because the rocks can get slick even underground and water does hangout in the cave, not just in the deeper parts, and getting stuck in puddy mud and hard to walk in. Plan on bringing the right equipment for caving or this cave will kick your butt, I slipped on a slick rock and busted mine last year in November of 2022, luckily I did not break anything but I did have a horrible bruise so be careful, bring a change of clothing you will deff be very muddy. Do not rush or go with someone that will rush you or your iffy about trusting because your life may depend on it, and take time to experience the cave in full. Would deff go back, Good luck and Enjoy!"
"Absolutely a big adventure and overwhelming for first timers. There are spots where navigating is really tough and chance of injury if you are not well equipped. MUST HAVE : Headlamp Working boots (running shoes are risky) Two additional sources at light Quick dry cloths Few snacks and drinks A small backpack to carry stuff"
"Kid friendly? Maybe 7+ but be ready for tears. Wouldn't venture beyond initial chasm unless older with gear. The ground is slick throughout requiring careful footing. Gear: Helmet. Hiking boots or water tolerant footwear. Two lamps, back up lamp. Water pack, snacks. Rope / strapping depending on desired trajectory. The survey maps leave a lot to be desired. The topography of the back of the initial entrance is an essentially stacked boulders field you weave through. While others attempted to place markings, we found they didn't obviously track to desired goals. There are some YouTube videos out there, didn't find them at all helpful. Will be back and try for bridge section another time. Don't wear anything you don't mind stained red clay."
"This cave may not be for first timers. It had a lot of variety inside. Surprisingly there was trash inside the cave. Bring a small bag to tote some out. The parking area is very basic. No bathrooms or picnic area. The cave is so cool though. Lots of wildlife to enjoy."
