"Me and my wife Dreama worked directly with Scott at 84 Lumber . He was a pleasure to work with very professional and he came through and got the job done for us."
"very little stock next to no plumbing parts pretty disappointing when you have to run across town to lowes to get simple plumbing parts. do better 84 ."
"Let me start by saying, I REALLY tried to give 84 lumber the benefit of the doubt. But this SIMPLE order quickly turned into a series of one mistake after another. We ordered a front door in April 2020. We were contacted around November 2020 and were told that our door had arrived, but it was the wrong door. It had been put in the computer incorrectly. They were going to have to place the order again. Due to COVID and circumstances beyond their control we DID FINALLY receive the door in March 2021. When my husband went to install the storm door, we discovered they had ordered us a door that you cannot attach a storm door to. This was emphasized when we ordered the door that we HAD TO HAVE our screen door attach. We were told they could order a piece to add to the door so we could attach our screen door. We waited 2 more months to get the piece. When it arrived, it had not been painted. We paid around $600 originally to have the door and side panels painted and NOW the piece that had to be added because of THEIR mistake now needed to be painted by US? I could have saved $600 if I wanted to paint it. Thankfully, my husband is a great painter and his dad is our contractor. Otherwise, I guess we would have had to hire someone to come out, paint the pieces, and then install them. While the door is beautiful and a great door, the LACK of customer service left us anything but satisfied. I will NEVER order from them again. Save yourself the headache and hassle, go somewhere else. I wish we had."
"I called in to speak to someone about a few Andersen doors. No one returned my call. So I drove there two days later. Wasted my gas and time which equals money. The guy at the desk said he doesn’t do that stuff. I had to have Scott call me. I asked if he was there and he said yes but he’ll call you. Waited 3 days and called again. Andersen doors are not inexpensive as I have 4 of there 400 series leading to my patio. I called Andersen and they were happy to help me and apologized for 84 lumber as it wasn’t their first complaint about that company. 84 lumbers are usually great and very helpful. But stay away from Beaver. They must of been hired sitting next to a mirror breathing hard to fog it. I spent 4K on just door panels with Andersen, free shipping. Home Depo (1.5 hrs away!) also offered to deliver and I definitely appreciate it."
"Cashier was chewing gum very loudly and the prices are so much more then Lowe's in Beckley. Sarcastically asked me you need a bag for that, when I purchased 1 Item. Not good.."
