Steak 'n Shake

"Service was terrible. The dining area was disgusting. The floors were greasy. We had to wait over 20 minutes for our food. The extras we paid for were missing and we only got single patties on our doubles. We paid extra for up size for fries, but we all got the same amount. Waste of money. The only reason why I didn't give it 1 star is because the food did taste good (despite missing our extra toppings we paid for) and the shakes were fantastic!"

"I'm not sure if they're allergic to seasoning but not a single thing have any flavor. The burgers are flavorless. Even the salt can't help the fries and it taste like it isn't cooked all of the way. Probably the worse fries I've ever had in my life. I'm not sure what kind of bacon is being used but I've never had bacon before that didn't have a hint salt to it. Everything taste like it was washed off with water then fried again. The only good thing are the shakes. The grill cheese isn't bad but it would taste better with cheddar cheese."

"Health score did not reflect the condition of the store. Grease on the order screens, counters. Floor was greasy and slick. Could only find one table that legitimately looked clean. Most of the staff were friendly but there was one person that obviously hates being there and it showed. Definitely the worst experience I've had at any Steak and Shake I've ever been to."

"All I know is that Steak and Shake used to be 100 times better years ago. To the point a line was wrapped around the building but now….no. My food wasn’t good, I had burnt onions on my burger, with a dry bun & unseasoned fries. The girl taking the order was unpleasant to even respond to. Just seems like a bunch of kids working there now that would care less. I won’t be back."
