"It is not the restaurant I remember. The food was bland and they no longer offer a mushroom swiss burger. The food they did have was too expensive for what you got. The service was OK because there is no more service. You have to get your own drinks (after scanning your receipt), you have to get your food from the counter, and you might even have to clean your own table as most of them were dirty. My family and I left with the feeling that we would not be coming back."

"Steak ‘n Shake PLEASE EXPAND TO MORE LOCATIONS!!! They are my absolute favorite fast food place and anytime I’m on a road trip or in another city I make sure to stop and get it!! I highly recommend the Frisco Melt. I get it every time (since like 2010) and the sauce on it is to die for!! The parmesan fries are also delicious and any shake on the menu. The quality of the food stays consistent across the board and I highly recommend any location. Steak ‘n Shake please sponsor me!"
"We often forget about this restaurant when we are thinking of a quick place to eat but it is always consistent and always good. Fries are always hot, burgers are always delicious, and of course you must get a shake to complete your meal!"
"Service was slow but hopefully that is temporary due to the hiring market. The fries were great and my daughter liked her burger. The shake was too thick for my taste but that is personal preference. My big complaint was that the gluten free burger was parts stacked on a plate with only flimsy plasticware to eat it. A lettuce wrapped burger would be much better."
